The Generator

We've been working on this bad boy for awhile now.  Some of you guys might have seen it at our booth at Interbike? Our first post or mention of it was about a year ago with random parts we had in our warehouse.  The Generator is a combination of a commuter and BMX.  The thing rides like a dream and can still jump off a curb and do a mean wheelie.  Features include: Full heat treated CRMO frame, fork and bar, EBB, fixed dropout, Shimano 8-spd. Alfine hub, Tektro Auriga Pro hydraulic brakes, 700X45c Resist tires, and much more.  We'll be offering it as a complete and should be due out around April/ May.  What you see in the pic will be very close to what the production model will have.  We'll have more pics and info on the site asap.

Interbike 2010 Flipbook

I think everyone has a love/ hate relationship with Interbike.  You always like seeing ol' friends but you hate working your ass off all year for 3 days of Interbike.  This year was especially crazy for us.  Samples came late, booth was first assembled the day before and numerous other last minute things.  After it's all said and done, it was a good time.  Glad it's the last time in Vegas too, now I don't have to go home feeling like I smoked a carton of cigarettes.

Epicly colored

Our main man, Phu over at Epic BMX has been doing custom powder coating orders on our frames (and anyone else's) this year. He's also doing custom stickers for each frame. He's been getting raw frames from us and doing whatever color your heart desires.  Phu is also the main man behind getting us the paint and stickers from our GReddy color collab.  Feel free to give him a shout at epic_bmx@yahoo.com or (714 )848-0888 for more info.

Volume X GReddy

A lot of guys know our love of automobiles over here at Volume.  Some of us here own sports cars and do track days and others just love to do burnouts out in front of the warehouse.  When GReddy Performance came to us about a color collab for their upcoming GReddy fest, we were happy to assist.  Especially when they gave us a drive in their GTR turbo upgrade car.  Click read more for the whole story.

Volume X Resist

Some of you guys probably are wondering what the hell happened to the Volume Stamp sprockets we showed samples of awhile back. Volume started to make too many parts that we swore Volume would never do, Volume was always to be a frame, fork and bar company.  We decided to start a new parts brand, Resist Parts.  Resist will focus on parts for fixed, 26” and our new line of commuter bikes. It’s endless on what the possibilities are for Resist. The natural progression of Volume in making new lines of frames, Resist will always be able to supply the parts.
We'll have more info on the Resist Parts site on what will be available.  Production of parts will be available Oct.  Stay tuned!

LA Brakeless Contest Recap

The LA Brakeless contest was held this last weekend and turned out to be a really cool event!  Big turnout and chill vibes.  Since I've lived in So. Cal. my whole life and have never been to Venice Beach, I was more amazed at the whole scene outside of the contest.  If you've never have been, trust me it's worth checking out at least once.  To check out more pics and videos, click the highlighted links.  Thanks again to everyone at LA Brakeless for an amazing event.
